Woolums of Anderson, IN owns this FINE '47 Ford Convertible. Orange
Juice you say! This 'vert is powered by a 350 Chevy in front of a 700R4
and ending up in a 9" Ford rear with a 3.50 gear. Boyd's 17 and
18" Rodder wheels make up the rolling stock. The paint is Pearl
Orange and the interior wears tan leather. The body is filled, smoothed,
frenched lights, front & rear rolled pans, driving lights in front
pan, molded grille bars, door & trunk corners rounded, hand built
rear bumpers, mirror housings and taillights. Frenched Ford emblems
front and rear. Owner modified dash & hand built console. Top
chopped 2.5", windshield "V" butted. Bitchen floor
boards, running boards and firewall. Ultra leather interior w/wool
carpet and cloth top. Jim says "I did All work on this car except
the upholstery work. It took 6 years to build but this included having
2 shoulder operations and working 6 &7 days a week at the factory. I
take a lot of pride in my work on this car. It's not perfect, but I did
it! I hope other people enjoy it.
