Alan Smith's '32 Ford

How bout some rodders from Down Under! Alan Smith in Australia sent some pics of his '32 he's building. The chassis was done by a local chassis shop. Al made molds from his mate's bodies and MADE THE BODY HIMSELF!!! Now that's ingenuity!! I'll let him tell you in his own words..." at present I'm building a '32 ford roadster, it's all home made except for the chassis which is professionally done by a local chassis shop. I took moulds from my mates cars & pieced together my own body. the body is fully steel reinforced with intusion bars, burst proof door locks, lap sash seat belts & collapsible steering column. all to comply with Australian registration requirements. all a bit of a pain in the proverbial backside but to get on the road we do what we have to for the authourities & then do our own thing after it's registered. I'm running a 351 ford cleveland motor/c4 gearbox/9" rearend/4.11 gears & 29" tall tyres. "
