Jack Roberts from Manchester
KY, is moving full speed ahead on this '32 Ford 3 window
coupe. This buildup began only 3 months ago in December 2001 and
Jack hopes to drive it to Knoxville in May to it's first rod
run.

Jack painted the TCI frame in
his garage, along with the Ford 8" rear end. Looks like an
excellent place to build a Street Rod to me! Well lit and clean.

Here's
a shot of the rearend, rear suspension and rear wheels and tires
installed. Amazing what they start out as and you end up driving
them! |

The
Chevrolet Corvette LT1 and the L460E trans are installed in the
frame rails now and the work continues.

This
shot shows the body in the background patiently awaiting the
completion of the frame. Looks like the exhaust is on and the
shifter is mounted.

Jack
tells me that the car is already at Pro Auto in Knoxville where
Steve Holcomb is stitching up the red leather interior. Jack is
going to send a bunch more pictures that he took as this car
went together. This could be a record buildup for a home builder
in the short period of time that he has to get it done!

Just
got some new pics from Jack. This shot shows the frame completed
with the front suspension and wheels and tires installed.

Looks
like this chassis is ready for the body. The gas tank is
installed also.
