Scott Hasko's '39 Willys Gasser

Scott Hasko bought this '39 Willys just like you see it here. Scott's plans for the Willys have seen the car completely disassembled and rebuilding it into the car he wants it to be. Read on below to see what Scott has to say about this Willys.

"I started 2 years ago with an all steel car that was never converted to a gasser. To date I have been able to do all of the work alone in my garage except for the machine shop work on the motor and rear end. These parts were assembled by me though. The car is set up for limited street use and should pass tech for a 10 second ride at the track. It uses a stock front suspension, with the original straight axle (drilled). The rear is ladder bars on leaf springs and floaters. I'm hoping to get the experience of running a genuine 60's era gasser-but built in the year 2000."

Follow along below with the progression of this Willys. The car in red is the body work beginning.

Two future beauty queens!

Sanded down and prepping the car for paint. We're all looking forward to some finished pictures of this "Gasser".

The Willys is finished!
