Home Builder's Corner
Frank Harris' '37 Chevy

Here's a shot of Frank and the '37 when he first bought it. I assume that shot was taken at the previous owner's place because below you'll see the much better shop Frank's using to build his car!

Here's an outside shot of Frank's shop in Michigan City, Indiana.

Here's the frame with the motor and transmission installed

Now a shot with the body installed.

Looks like the body is painted now and waiting in the corner while Frank gets the chassis finished. Looks like a great place to build a rod to me.

Coming along great Frank. The body is installed and the finishing process has begun. The 4 A's Car Club in Three Oaks Michigan will probably be seeing a lot of this car soon!

Frank sent me some more pics of his Chevy. I love the trailer! He didn't say whether he bought it or built it but it will go great with the car.

Being out of the country a lot keeps things from happening very fast. But it looks like he's rolling with it now. The wiring is going in, the shifter's in and shouldn't be much longer before this one's running.

Word just in from Frank, the '37 Runs! Just started it and everything went great. Everything is wired except the lights and the stereo.

Work continues on the wiring. Frank secured the front seats from a Thunderbird for the '37.

I would like to thank my great friends Wayne Dosenberry, Chris Milczarek, Al Davis and Gery "Midget Toes" Schneider for all of their help. I definitely could not have done it without them. I have found to do this type of work and make it a
success you definitely need the help of your friends.
Thanks again and I will have more to come.

Keep it comin' Frank!
